Sorry for your loss Mr Barnes. That is a totally senseless act.  I especially hate to hear that this happened at Cherokee. My buddies and I have turned loose there several times and wouldnt have thought this to be an issue. Right now nothing is really in season and there is really no reason to even have a gun there, except for predator hunting maybe. Did you contact the warden or area manager about this and if so what did they have to say? This makes me think twice about running dogs down there.

Once again sorry for the loss.
