DAVID THOMS DOGS

I bought 2.... Both would not bay/catch/sniff a hog AT ALL. Not saying these same dogs wouldnt burn a cows ass up. I just never tried them on cows. My intention was hog hunting. Got the guarantee. Kept in contact with Mr Thoms until the pups were a yr old. When I told him I would like to get a couple new ones and bring these back he flipped and said I didnt let them "chase butterflys" enough. Said I didnt feed them the right dog food and that was the reason they werent working. Blamed me for the dogs not working. I know TexasJ buddy has a real good dog from Mr. Thoms. he also had one he took back which Mr. Thoms didnt like very much. ( I know this because i was standing with Thoms when the dog was brought back) I am in no way saying Thoms is a bad guy, I enjoyed talking with him over the course of a yr. FYI. I was the one who had to hire a lawyer in order to make Mr. Thoms honor what HIS guaranteed contract said.
There are many other guys that say Thoms dogs are the best COWdogs they have ever seen, which I have no doubt they were, but this is mainly what they have been used/bred for.
