where to start ? i guess with the plotts wich in my day [sorry boys] plotts was CUR DOGS till they left the hills and the coon hunters got ahold of em . you can still find a silent runnin plott now and again my ol gyp was the more cur type plott and tight mouthed all the cross pups is tight mouthed

This here is why I use the Plott crosses in my lines.  I have seen the Pocahanttas line crossed great dogs in my buddys dogs and I owned two and I use myself the
Sizzlin Heat / Alabama Hammer .   I was a little worried about the Pocahanttas crossed but they have now come on and are really lightin up the woods in a big big way and the Sizzlin Heat/Alabama Hammer cross is just as good this cross here is what my Horn dog is Half Heat/Hammer on my blood and he is my main Find Dog.

Both when cross have some good grit not to much not to less , both are tight mouthed, both have bottom, both are fast as hell,  good wind , good staminia all in all it has worked out great for myself and my buddy.
