I've done it a few time when my dogs didn't catch or no Catch dog. I just get really close. Less margin of error. I work my dogs in a pen to get them to back up and bay. You may try that. Just try to find you some loose baying dogs that will stop a hog and get a gun that will knock one down for sure. A second shot will not as well thought out as the first one.
I like just about everyone else. There's nothing more exciting than sticking or tying one.
