Can not see the begging in my statment, however it's in how it is received. My statment is not a bitter one as you have mistaken it for. It is not even about those good breeders. It's about the same ones who chime in with the same old same old You ain't one of us, so you must have an angle. These are the same ones that probably are not those good breeders. I am not some young pup who wants it all now and my way, I am an older man who sees things in a different fashion. I am not a hog dogger yet, but I am not new to the world of hunting dogs either. I do understand paying my dues, and I will. However I do see a difference in this dog sport than others I have experienced(and I do not wish to change it) and It is in the attitude. I read an artical by a member who said in so many words that he had become an A$$ Hole because of this sport. It was in the area of trying to protect his hunting lands, and his strain of dogs. And he has every right to do so. Now from some of the other posts that followed his a few others agreed that they understood this, and could see it in themselves also. There are good guys, and bad guys in this sport, like in all other sports also. I am not begging, and I don't want the quick fix number one dog right now, but I do want as good a dog as I can afford(as you said) and work from there. I also do not think it's anyones place to tell someone you may be in it for the wrong reason, If you feel I was out of place , then you may also be there too. But no harm no foul on my part I do not take it to heart. If I have offended anyone well that was never my intention, but I stand by what I have written. If you read it again(and by no means do you have to) you will see it is written from the point of view of those who I spoke of before, the same old same old. Thank you for your reply.
