Girlfriends are usually more understanding.....even of wives! 

yep...and getting married can ruin a good relationship. all kidding aside sense you have children you need to do your part in making it work...compromise and build a nice kennel for your dog so that the goat will be safe...then you can turn the dog loose for excercise when under supervision...need to start breaking your hog dog off of livestock anyways...
