It all ends up with basic economics, if gas in Germany is 6 to 8 bucks a gallon the oil companies are gonna sell over there for the most profit
Its the American way!
if we forced American companies like Exxon to follow the proposed rules they would not make it cuz the other non American companies like Shell and BP would still be allowed to sell to highest bidder and it would put Exxon at a disatvantage and then everybody suffers.
Don't know the solution but preventing American companies from maximizing their profit is not it
