It doesn't matter what she does in the pen. Make decisions based on work, not practice. Some terriers have to build up to their excitement levels. What I've seen is curs tend to work for the handler, and terriers tend to work for the their own enjoyment. Both can do the same job, but not the same motive.
I hunt with a mixed pack, and this has been my experience.
