If you are going to spend money on a dog that hunts, get to know the dog well. I have a several dogs that are long range, good nosed, gritty, regularly produce hogs, with good bottom,... now this is the part that I don't brag about, that is also true... they will NOT take orders from strangers, they cant pass up a skunk, and on some days when they just dont feel good, will find one hog and then they are done.
To me they are priceless, to someone else they may be culls.
