I personally think that dogs are incredibly overpriced. I know that there is a lot of time that goes into a finished dog, and a man's time is worth money, but the people training these dogs are not in it for the money I wouldn't think. What exactly determines to you that you are going to sell a dog for 1000 plus dollars. I heard of one that sold for 6000 the other day. Is it just rich guys looking for a hobby that you sell them to, or are normal everyday blue collar people spending thousands on dogs? I really do not get how someone will spend that kind of money on a tool, to use in a dangerous sport, that might not live through the next hunt. Its like buying a ferrari to race on a dirt track.
i think its more like a rich guy really wanted some guys dog that he didnt wanna sell so $6000 was the magic number that changed his mind ,i really like some of my dogs but ....you know they say everything has a price , an i learned usallay if you dont take a great offer you will soon wish you did
