If ive got something good then i just wont sell and it's cost me a few times. Now, if somebody starts  trying to buy something i dont want to sell, Ill cut them off quick. I turned down a wad of money for the best heading horse i ever owned and less than a month later she got struck by lightning, killed her and crippled two other horses for three months. Got offered good money for a really nice dog and said no, let her off the chain a week later to get in the trailer and she chased the barn cat across the road and got hit by a car. I will not sell the best ones i have and i wont sell the worst ones i have, Ill cull them or give them to somebody for a yard dog. If there in the middle somewhere then they're for sale, but i will be honest with you on them. If the buyer still wants them then its on them. But they will hunt with them first or i wont sell them.
