Id pay that for a pup if it was what I WANT. That's cheaper than raising one to hunting age. Must sell some or they couldn't ask it. Supply and demand.
I have sold some even higher than 1000 ive also sold for a lot less I dont claim them to be the best dog walking or anything else far as that goes most of my customers are repet or they hunted with someone that has had dogs from me I hunt my dogs every week I cull hard but I can also say I havent had to cull for lack of hunnting ability in many years
I am a breeder and if you factor in all cost hunting, vet bills, fuel, food ,kennel supplies ,huntig supplies,and hunting transportation you are still in th hole
so ya if I ca ge the money I get it and if some how I make money I still would put it back into the dogs some form or fassion
It always amazes me every time this topic pops up the foundation is the only one talked about I can think of a few other lines out there that have same price range if you can get them at all, but I guess cause there are gettig to be so many foundaton dogs out there and many trying to breed and sell pups
