I have tie out by my kennels and have dog lead with clips at both ends. The kennels doors have wire in fron so the doors only open into the kennel. When it is time to clean I just go in and clip a lead on the and then clip them to the tie out. used to clip them inside but they get in the way. I know it is no help now but it will push it to the top. I would think they will come back at feeding time if nobody grabs them. I also clean right before feeding it makes it real easy to get them back in.
