Get wire with smaller holes. That is why I have roofs too. Not that I have anything climb like that but I got some that can jump six feet up. I have heard of dogs getting their head stuck through the space between the side and the roof and getting killed. My cur dog tried to catch a squirrel on a tree branch over the six foot wooden fence one day. I watched as she jumped up and reached the branch that was at least seven feet up, the squirrel ran, and the dog hit the fence and landed on the other side. It was so funny because she was focused on the squirrel and did not know where she landed at first. Later she caught the squirrel for a snack
But it was real clear she can jump six feet up easy. I bet a lot of dogs can if they are motivated.
