I've damn near walked over bedded up hogs at night that the dogs passed up or that dropped out of the race and let the dogs go after some other ones.  Bay up more sounders at night too.  Can't stress the light thing enough and batteries.  I'd rather hunt daytime, but its cooler at night and seems easier in some aspects harder in others...
