If you don't mind going to school a few more years, get an associate degree in nursing. I'm dum as a bag of hammers and i've made a pretty good living in the operating room. If you hogdog, and can field care your dogs, you can nurse. And people always gonna get sick. Cool thing about associates degree is n most cases, u can work, continue schooling on line and get your B.S. while working as a nurse and making good $$$. And you usually can get a B.S. that way quicker than just signing up for a straight B.S. program. Thing i hate about working n operating room is call. Been taking call for 35+ years and it really screws your weekends up.
Also, know u in Texas, but in Alabama, Mercedes plant, Hyundai, Honda, all take applications online. Also building a huge railroad hub just outside Birmingham and there's all kinds of railroad jobs online. If your willing to move around, Railroad will do pretty good by you. Good luck, young fella. You'll do good cuz you sound like you WANT to work, and that right there will put u ahead of 95% of the applicants where ever to try out.
No sir lol I don't mind workin one bit and I appreciate the advice about the nursin but I don't think I would know what to do sittin in the a.c. all day lol
