None of my business but I'd take that dog to a vet, both for treatment and for legal reasons. That will add a little credability to your claim against them. You should be paid back 100% for all vet bills and other cost during the treatment such as fuel and missed time from work ect.. I would have an attorney send them a letter at the very least stating such along with a letter from your vet stating damage to the dog and any possible effects that could crop up down the road from tocisity from the acid ie. liver damage. You can bet they will lawyered up from the get go when you made the complaint over the phone and you should to anytime dealing with a company of that size, also I'd seek attorneys fee's covering the cost of the letter they send. Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!
