Sry for ur loss man. I'm sure it is possible that fleas could be a cause for it because the cause the dog to become anemic but u normally will notice signs of it like the dog being real sluggish not very active so on I recently had a bad flea problem and it got one of my bulldogs really run down I just got some stuff called tellstar it is supposed to be awesome and kills everything
