Ive been thinking about changing jobs as well... Looking at taking a course to go to work on a rig...
Several guys I know that got the training are making about $100,000 a year work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off...
Right now im working 7-3 and home every night, but making just enough to cover the bill i have...
The way Im looking at it is that i can work for 2 weeks, and spend the other 2 weeks off with the family and have time and money to buy what we want and go on vacations and trips that we cant afford to do right now.. and of course plenting of hunting trips!!
Now a job working away every week, that wouldnt cut it...
That's not a bad idea Trent... Keep me updated on what you have to do to get trained and hired.
I hunt with a guy that took the course and is currently working in the field... Im still trying to find out more info on it to make sure its something I would want to do... I know it cost about 9 grand to take the 2 month course, and they had jobs waiting on them when they got out...
