Yeah if ur gyp was in heat it's surprising u had trouble keeping them together LOL. JK. Anyhow I agree with wilbanks, dogs hear things we never will. But to add some of my most humble opinion and I don't know if any of these situations apply but when u have too many " helper" type or young dogs on the ground at one time it signals play time. Sometimes a young dog will follow an older dog not knowing that the older dog isn't really putting out. Also it may just be that ur dogs won't honor the new dog......yet. With an opinion comes advice so here it is. Be honest with yourself and choose from your dogs who u think has the most potential and hunt it with your finished strike dog. Then put the others down only on a hot track or a bay. Then they can learn to trust the new dog because one of your dogs trust it.
