Why would you want them to stay together? They cover more ground and over lap if not together. Try only running two dogs and put a tracking collar on the dog and wait for it to say bayed. My dogs are together all the time. They may be in different kennels but they are connected. When a dog escapes the kennel most of the time it is into the other kennel and not to get away. They only bust out when another dog is running free. A couple months is nothing. Just keep them together and hunt them together.
