If the bore hole is distorted, the shaft may be aswell. It would be better to build a new 1 to the shaft diameter. What is the diameter of bore on the 1s with the splines? U may can take into account the width of the crack and warpage of the old bar bore hole and see if 1 with the splines are similar. Boring the hole in a new bar is easy, its just getting keyway machined would b a pain. Is it a bush hog (not the brand name, but the type of mower) or an actualy shredder? Iv heard folks call a hog a shredder n heard a hog called a hog. Different stroke for different folks. Iv always known a shredder to be a mower used to cut hay, not mow thick brush

shredder is for tall grass, bush hog is for small trees and children.
