can i use strongid (yella wormer from vet) on 4 week old pups

if you are talking the liquid then yes, If it is the Horse wormer paste than i would not because you can't gauge how much your giving with the weight and dosage being for horses. I Use Nemex II. Same ingredient. (Pyrantel pomoate). It can be used starting at 2 weeks. Has directions on the bottle, dosage and how often to give it and can be bought at about any feed store. That way you know how much you are giving. Good luck.
