i use a knife i got in germany. i think its a puma blade. works fine and holds an edge even with the course hair on a hog. used an eye brand before too and it works as good as the puma. for gutting i use a ingress/regress strap cutter. makes light work and has a ceramic rod on it for touching up knives.
