My Momma and I always bet houses on the races of the triple crown. Whoever loses has to clean the winner's house for a month.
My Momma will ALWAYS pick the sorrel colt to win. If there is more than one then she looks at attitude and pedigree. She has never in my 24 yrs looked at a previous race record. Her philosophy is that you can't beat a red headed horse anymore than you can a red headed person. Piss them off and they come back for revenge, try and hurt them and they are just gonna come back for more. She picked both charasmatic and I'll have another to win. She's 2-0 so far. Other years she just didn't like the red colts that were running and picked a bay. Lol
