I use a variety of sharpeners.  I like the carbide and ceramic ones run it over the carbide LIGHTLY then over the ceramic then use a sharpening steel to fine sharpen.  Works pretty quick and don't take much metal off if you don't use the carbide much.  The steels are a pain but when you get it down they work great.
