and rueben, thats where we need to grab our government by their twig and berries and comense sqeezing till they buckle from the pain. you are right, the government needs to step in when something like that senario happens. its a double edge sword. fuel prices continue to rise till families have to make a choice of putting food on the table, or fuel in the gas tank to get to work to either more fuel in the tank or food on the table, but yet if the price drops to much, they lay off rig workers. again, the majority rules, if prices rise to much, then the populous speaks against it. there are more that pay at the pump than there is that work in the o&g services. it sucks on both ends, and knowing how it feels to get layed off, it sucks and dont dont wish it on any, but yet if i have to choose fuel over food, sorry for your luck. the folks working overseas just took a huge hit in their pocket books and they have crappier living and working conditions than the majority of the folks here. its damned if you do and damned if you dont. nothing can be done with out pissing off some1.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!
