I'm just curios as to why diesel is more then gas ? Is it not bottom of the barrels and not much refining ? Or is it only because of the demand the last10 15 years where everywhere now diesel trucks are bein driven I'm damned tired of 130$ a week to fill up at 360 3.70 gal but what are we to do ?

Diesel prices have risen because of EPA protocol and it is being refined much more now. The more it's refined the more it costs. Diesel in the past had a much higher sulfer content than what's being made now. I work in a refinery and we make 80,000 bpd. Sumbiches just cut everyones bonus
