ATV's. Mostly because it easy to carry dogs, caught hogs, and suppies, it never gets tired, it can haul dogs out of the woods quickly when they need medical attention, and can get to a bay over a mile away quickly. Sometimes we cover as much as twenty to thirty miles on a hunt. I probably need to walk that much but Im not about to do it.
Lol im glad you said the Mrs. Dinah, cuz I not either!!!
I used to hunt with a good friend on horseback quite a bit, i loved it. On horseback you can hear so much better, and can ride 15-20yds from the bay without fear of breakin it.......when we hunted on horseback alot we were fortunate to have 2 bulldogs that would walk along side us and not act a fool around the horses. I will say that when we hunted horseback our dogs were in far FAR better shape than they are now due to bein on the ground the entire hunt.
Now days we hunt mainly on 4wheelers due to overall convience for the reasons djhogdogger stated above.
