Seen a few decent ones with that cross. I'd say depending on your gyp's style of hunting coupled with the males will tell the truth. I havnt seen too many cats I'd breed too, and only a handful more yellow dogs Smiley

Higher standards means better dogs overall.

Didn't mean nothing by the comment other than in my last 6 years of hog hunting and over probably 1200-1500 hogs I've seen 2 catapoulas I would breed to and about 6-8 yellow dogs. You may have 2 that are worthy, just saying through the standards we upheld on hog dogs don't see to many of either breed step up to the plate and deliver

haha you guys crack me up...higher standards?  ....Im just crossing two dogs that work...adding a lil yella isnt raising any standards, its just crossing two dogs that I like.... while were having fun with this, I say that you fellers in Texas with all those hog numbers wouldnt recognize your dogs in oklahoma Grin...oops, I just lit a fuse

LOL trust me we can come to Oklahoma and put on a show just like in Texas.

Good luck with your cross, I've seen 3 really good BMc/cats before so you might get lucky and get some more good ones
