Back to the question at hand.....

Dogginhogs- How do you take a close range catchy dog and turn him/her into a long range loose baying dog??  Not being a smart a$$, I am just curious as to the training techniques used to accomplish this feat. 

I don't know how to make a rough dog loose, but I do know how to make a short ranged dog long ranged.
Step 1 remove garmin.
Step 2et the dog get out of your sight
Step 3 imagine that he ran a long ways off and is hunting real hard
