 I see the point of more strict gun laws because of the shooting, but I also look at those gun laws as making it where the average law abiding citizen can NOT carry a weapon to protect theirselves from that kind of thing. If they allowed open carry in every state, it would be a balancing act on the laws, but it would hopefully make a criminal think twice before doing anything stupid, knowing that people are fully armed and ready. if the weapon can be seen especialy with multiple people around that are carrying, it would have to be a real stupid person to do some kind of act of violence. it is a doubke edge sword no matter how you slice it. it will piss the anti-guns off by making it open carry, but yet piss the pro-guns off by restricting weapons even more. it is human greed on every corner and nobody can be pleased without pissing the opposite off and vise-versa.
