For those of you who think that a side by side isn't as good as a four wheeler in the thick woods and mud holes, yall need to come hunt with us.
Point it in the right direction and smash the gas peddle and make a new trail. So far the only thing that we found that the ranger isn't good at is crossing wet, disc'd fields that are mostly gumbo because it will ball up on the tires.
I rode both....a lot! but I left out a very important issue for my reasoning. You need to think about self recovery. I've seen a 3500lb winch not even budge a Yamaha Rhino at Mud Creek (Jacksonville) when it got stuck in the sticky icky. It's all preference. I'm caught in the middle as well. I have a Honda Rubicon which I love but I'm getting a strong interest into the BadBoy Buggies now. Check em out, It would be a silent assassin.
