My friend is a judge and tells this story. He had a court room full of people. First case is a guy that got drunk and slapped his wife around. He looks in the book and gives the man the appropriate fine something like 125 dollars plus court cost. Second man got caught with slot fish on the local lake. 10-12 I think he said. Anyhow he looks in the book and the fine is 85 dollars per fish. So he fines tha man around 800 dollars plus court cost. The man goes ballistic and shouts " what the hell! All that for some damn fish?? Next week I'll just stay home, get drunk and beat my wife its a helluva lot cheaper !!
