Don't pass up Robert Milner's book Retriever Training for the Duck Hunter. Excellent book, and one of the best I have read that explains every step to you. Read Waterdog first, but follow it with Milner's book. They will tie together great. He also has a new book out, Back To Basics. My buddy in Buna just bought a Drath, and he picked up the new book. Said it is very good also.
