What are friends for?

Meagan,....I wish to share something with you that changed my life. It addresses something that I've struggled with my entire life,.....kmowing when to 'let go of the sterring wheel' and let God take over the driving. I found this poem in the most out of the way place...that when I read it my knees gave way and I sat flat down in the floor...it was that obvious that God had hit me in the head with a brick once again to get my attention.....I now want to share it with you in hopes that it will give you some peace and hopefully change your life as well.

"Let Go and Let God"

As children bring their broken toys with tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God because He was my friend.
But instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone,
I stayed around and tried to help with ways that were my own.
Al last I snatched them back and cried..."How could you be so slow?"
"What could I do my child?' He said,......."You never did let go."
