Im ignorant to showing horses so i apologize if this is stupid.. Why not still show her even with the eyelid missing. Hell comb the main over her eyes a little if you can do that.
It depends on what event your doing. If she was a halter horse it would be the kiss of death because that's all about looks. As far as a reiner goes, some trainers wouldn't wanna jack with it cuz she ain't as pretty now, others it doesn't bother as long as she can still see, which she can.
