Great lookin dogs. I got a hairy stag just like mcgregor that's all catch and need to find the right vest for him... So would u suggest the pigga frigga? As you said I just don't want something that will restrict his range of motion and slow him down
The PiggaFrigga is a very high quality piece of cut gear but from my own observations and those of hunting partners its not the best choice for a narrow leggy dog. Those plates are designed for a thicker bull arab type dog. The issue that bothers me about them on a narrow leggy dog is that nothings holding those flaps down. They provide excellent range of motion and protection to neck and jaw but not so much on the chest and shoulders of a narrow dog. On something with a wide chest it changes the way the whole thing behaves because the thicker dog fills it in and doesnt let it move nearly as much.
The hairy Holder design doesnt have those issues and is built with the same level of quality. American Made Aussie inspired
