I love those long leggy dogs how do they do in thick brush?
Well its like most would suspect, not so great in the super thick stuff as a shorter dog. But in moderate typical thick stuff, briars, cedar thickets and brush it really depends on the dog. That dane x boxer female never had a problem moving thru anything. Wasnt much that would slow her down. Just very athletic. That Dane x ridgeback had alot of issues with briars. Not an agile dog at all but shined on an open/semi open chase. The stag moves pretty fluid thru the woods but does some times have issue with barriers. I.e Brushpiles and fences.
My dane x deerhound x wolfhound is extremely athletic and just goes under, over, or thru not sure if she'll jump a fence on the run
