had a few that would hunt hogs in the day then coon at night.

Looking to get a Blue Tick pup . His primary job will be to hunt coon at night. It would be great if he could be used on hogs too.
Would it be rare or uncommon for him to do both or do you just have to work him on both to get him started? I would like to use him on
coons by himself and bring him with the other dogs for hunting hogs. What y'all think ?

my grandfather owns a von plott line gyp shes 14 and in her prime she would run coon, bear, and hogs. best thing to do is to work on coons and use him as a help dog when you have a solid bay. by solid i mean your 100% that hog wont run anymore.  Wink Grin
