As so much of this bad dealings, dog stealing and folks getting screwed over goes, it all stems from a lack of character.....something that seems to escape a lot of people. I'm 60 years old and this has been running rampant as long as I can remember,......we just hear about it more now than when I was a kid.....due in part to the internet and just better communications than we used to have. I just can't understand why anyone would trade dogs or go hunting with a person of questionable character,......they ain't that hard to spot....
At least for me that is.....I just don't hunt with anyone that I don't trust......simple as that. Most of these, as my folks always called them,......'no count' people are all full of themselves and can be spotted at a glance. I would rather sit at home and wish I was hunting than go with someone I don't totally trust,....but that's just me. I have been blessed greatly with life-long friends that I can trust completely.....I am a lucky man.
