Thank you for the kind words everyone.

And Chance, thanks for making me smile. I will always smile when I think of our story of how loose baying Foot was.

For those who don't know what Im talking about..... one time I went hunting with Chance and Crystal several years ago. Not long after we had met them. Chance likes to hunt dogs who are loose baying. Ones that will not put too much pressure on a hog. I had brought Foot and Red with me. Well Red is pretty rough and Foot was a loose baying dog.

So I told Chance that I would put Foot on the ground because he was our loose baying dog. Chance said that was fine with him. Not long afterwards, the dogs had a bay going on the side of a big pond. When we got there, there were what we thought were two bays going. One on either side of the pond. We went to the first bay where Chance's dogs had a pig bayed in the edge of the water. We got it caught and went to go to the other bay on the other side of the pond and we realized that it wasn't another bay. It was Foot, baying the pig that we had just caught from ACROSS the pond. LOL

Chance looked at me and said " I know that you told me your dog was loose baying, but dang! That has to be the loosest baying dog I have ever seen.   Hahaha!

Good memories!

Got a good laugh from that story. Sorry for your loss. Rip foot
