I think there is just a lack of knowledge on here about dogos... dogs... life.  The same thing happened to dogos that happens to every other breed. Some people to want to pay $$$ for an unproven pup wether its a hunter or a catchdog so they buy cheap.  Either a cross or some dude that says they are full blood but dogos cost too much so he is gonna sell them cheap unregistered.  Well if the reg price is unjust then why don't you change that and sell your reg pups cheaper.  I bet I know why...before you go out and buy a cheap dog or hunt with one check out the original breed standard of the dogo and see if it matches the discription.  Then find out its background ... if there is any... and see if it came from hunting lines or just somebody making a good deal.  Lets compare apples to apples.  Not someones cull or mixed dog to your "tope notch" hunting dog.  I've hunted with just about every breed you can put in the woods for pigs mixed and fullblood.  I've seen variations of all of them that bay, catch or both.  One of my smartest dogs was a pit that bayed till help got there then caught as hard as any I've seen.  If you think that's a flaw in a dog... you need to get in the woods a little more.  All I'm saying is show me a crappy dogo and Ill show you three just like it in your dog of choice.  You get what you pay for.
