He started out as a pet and I figured I would try him out. Ive had him since he was a puppy, he never seemed gritty at all. The hog in the woods was a little bigger than the one in the pen, not my much at all. Ive talked to some other folks and was told some catch dogs wont catch unless theres other dogs there baying. Maybe just try him in a real situation out of the bay pen.
