Yep the yeller blood is why the brindle dogs are as good as they are... Sure aint hearing anybody say they're super dogs came from spotted mutts... Hmmmm.
All the "super dogs" I've been around have come from from spotted mutts.
I haven't seen a yella "super dog" yet.
Well if they did come from spotted dogs, either no one is mentioning it or doesn't want to admit it!!!
So far its been good brindles coming from yellers or the other way around plus some hound here and there...

i only got to hunt with her in her last years but even in her old crippled state she was better than any yeller dog i have seen to date.
