I dont care who founded it or how long ago, if its useless now. Yes i find it corrupt, if it didnt, i wouldnt have said it.
Charles, have you not argued in the past that we are failing to follow the constitution? The EC was created at the Constitutional Convention by our founders AND are a part of our constitution. Article II, Section 1 of the constitution requires that we elect the president by use of the EC.
Since the EC system and the popular vote yielded the exact same winner ... and every registered voter in the U.S. was allowed to vote ... why do you believe we are a dictatorship and not a democracy? Tell us how the system of voting should be, in your view, so that it is a democracy.
