Sounds like you already have your mind made up as you stated what they do, so why are you asking others? The one I had here aint here no more for a reason. Thats it was not a  better dog that we already raising and hunting.

Sounds to me like he knows what he has seen already but wants to get more feedback and decided if the 3 he has hunted with are flukes or if there is consistency to this line of dogs.....  Sounds like he is doing it the RIGHT way, asking questions before he buys.....
