i was told by oldtimers as a little feller that before about 10 months a pup couldn't physically keep up with the old dogs in the real world .

of course that depends on the pup , the kid thats wanting to brag on the pup ,  and the old dogs in question .

i imagine there are educated people now that know more than they did
