Fort Stewart, yep no dogs. But plenty of hogs. Not too far away further south. More around Folkston. Im not sayin there aint good places to hunt in South Ga, Just not anywhere within a 45min Drive that "I" have permission to hunt. Only Hogs around my house are ones that got out the pen.

Townsend wma near Fort Stewart has Started allowing hog hunting with dogs, only at certain times. be just a matter of time before its completly open. I've cut wood on the bombin range in townsend and it def has a good population. Only 1 problem, how many people like to drive 2 hours, to hunt for a couple of hours??

Gas, Tires, Time, more chance to get caught transporting live hog. I would personally just like a few hogs on some leased land 30 mins from the house. I guess you cant have your cake and eat it too. Grin
