I am only 31. I have rotoscoliosis, (two major rotated curves in my spine) and two bulging disks. Carpal tunnel in both wrists and my right knee is bad, just got diagnosed recently with arthritis in that knee. I see a pain mgmt. doctor. Getting fitted for a custom back brace in 2 weeks. Meds don't help. I don't take my pain meds because they make me sick, so I'm about to start getting injections in my back that I have to be sedated for. Surgery down the road. VERY frusterating at times. I'm limited to where I can hunt (it's muddy and wet around these parts) and I can only handle so many dogs now. I tell ya what though, I will NEVER give up hunting, I will NEVER give up my dogs. Aside from my family, my dogs are a huge part of my passion for life and they help keep me going. I was a Vet Tech for 14yrs, and I had to stop working due to my physical limitations from pain. I used to be extremely active and very self sufficient. It is indeed very frusterating, but on my bad days, I always remember......there is someone out there that is WAY worse off than me, and I have to remember that I am blessed to be able to be mobile still and have what I have. Hope they find somethin' that helps ease the pain soon for ya....
